Our Blog
A blog about food, sweet and savory, as I am determined to try new recipes. Also, I am sure, I’ll tell a little about what my family is up to. And last but not least, what goes on in the making of our beautiful wedding cakes.
This last weekend, I was asked to make some chocolate dipped strawberries for an engagement party in Manchester, Vt. The groom to be, being a fan of football, was treated to some nicely dressed “football strawberries”. What a nice idea, mom! And my boys enjoyed the extras as well!

Back in June of 2009, I had the pleasure to make a cake for Erin and Vincent. Erin couldn't actually come for the tasting, but her sister Jessica and her mom came. They loved the flour-less chocolate cake and that’s what Erin ordered. Two years later, Jessica and her mom were back to see me. Jessica was getting married. Once again, they ordered the flour-less chocolate. But with a very different look. It was all based on the colors and designs from the invitations. I feel very good about my work when the good word is passed on from one daughter to the next. This wedding is featured currently featured on Vt Vows’ web site http://bit.ly/IpAfRP |
